Our rates are comparable to standard midwifery care packages in the area. As we offer different packages, we recommend setting up a consultation so we can determine together how best to meet your needs. If your family would benefit from a sliding scale payment option, we are happy to discuss this as well!
In addition to the care provided and attendance at your labor and birth, our home birth package includes a birth tub (with liner), your birth kit, early ultrasound (<10-weeks), and the 20-week anatomy scan with Scanbabies in Los Gatos.
We do not accept insurance directly, but many PPO health insurance policies will reimburse for out of hospital midwifery care at the “out of network” rate. We work with a biller who can help you navigate the process.
Birth can happen just about anywhere! The most important factor is your comfort level. If you want to give birth in your home, we can make it happen.
If the need arises for a hospital transfer during labor, we will join you. You do not lose your team! Upon transfer to the hospital OB or CNM, we will provide non-medical labor support and help you navigate your choices.
The earlier the better! This gives us the most time to get to know you and your family. But, you can switch providers at any time during your pregnancy. We accept clients who are newly pregnant, and up until 36-weeks of pregnancy.
